The Visionary Behind the Canvas
Gene Blackburn’s creative path is defined by a profound bond with the Pacific Northwest’s natural splendor. Moving far beyond simple imagery, his work distills the essence of the environment through realism and imagination.
Residing on the rugged Oregon Coast within Lincoln County, Gene finds inspiration alongside his wife and two loving dogs. He is a dedicated volunteer at the Yaquina Art Association Gallery located at 789 NW Beach Drive, Newport OR, where a selection of his portfolio is frequently exhibited. While expert in acrylics, Gene’s artistic curiosity spans photography, wood sculpture, and watercolor.
